Sports Update

Yesterday we took part in the finals of this year’s Sportshall Athletics competition finishing in the top 10! We had previously come first in our district so we made it to the finals and competed against the top 3 schools in each region of Northamptonshire! This is a huge achievement and we are really proud of the children.

It has been such a great journey with our year 5 and 6 athletes. They have worked so hard to get this far, putting in after school training sessions and additional runs. We finished 10th out of the 15 schools today.

In addition, on Monday we represented Bracken Leas and The Hawksmoor Learning Trust in the KS2 Values Festival. The children took part in multiple mini skills events including table tennis, rugby, basketball, football, archery, etc. The children had such a great time and were great role models.
