Bracken Leas Harvest Celebrations
Ahead of the October Half Term we will be holding our annual Harvest Collections for local families in need. These collections will be supported by our Year 6 House Captains who will have shopping trolleys at the ready at morning drop off from Thursday 17th October.
Harvest Assemblies
There will be an Early Years and Year 1 Harvest Festival to which parents will be invited, on Monday 21st & Tuesday 22nd October at 9.30. Further details regarding this will be circulated closer to the dates.
Harvest Collections
Our Year 6 House Captains will be in the playground at school drop off as follows;
- Thursday 17th October – Morning drop off
- Friday 18th October – Morning drop off
- Monday 21st October – Morning drop off
- Tuesday 22nd October – Morning drop off
Each House will have a decorated shopping trolley ready for your donations.
Here is a list of the items we would like by year group. Please only donate the items for your child’s year group as this will ensure all recipient families get a good selection of items.
EYFS – Pasta & rice & long life juice cartons
Year 1 – Tinned/bottled savoury items (baked beans, tinned veg, ketchup etc.)
Year 2 – Tinned/jarred fruit
Year 3 – Tinned/packet/pot puddings (jelly, custard, rice pudding etc.)
Year 4 – Jars of cooking sauces (Bolognese, curry, etc.)
Year 5 – Savoury snack & crisps
Year 6 – boxed longer life cakes, biscuits and sweet treats

Where possible, please place donations in the appropriate house trolley for your child’s house. Details of your child’s house can be found on their Arbor profile if you are unsure.
As in previous years all donations will be going to Helping You Live.
