Our Latest Club Offer Programme
Pupils are responsible house captains and willing science ambassadors. Pupils show they are good sports at cross-country and hockey events. They enjoy clubs such as cooking and gardening. Budding musicians and artists attend orchestra or culture and art club.
Getting Children Active
We are very pleased to offer a wide variety of club opportunities each year for the children of Bracken Leas and we aim to involve as many children as possible. Once released, you will find here a comprehensive list of all teacher led clubs on offer at school for the term ahead. We also host extra-curricular opportunities provided by external companies. Please note that if you wish to sign your child up for one of these external clubs then you must contact these companies directly. Please contact the school office for further details.
All teacher-led clubs will be available via the Arbor Parent Portal app, so please ensure you register your child for their preferred clubs using this. Please book early to avoid disappointment! Initial signup, with a few notable exceptions, is limited to one club per child.

Equipment for Clubs
Please be aware if equipment is needed (shin pads, football boots etc.). For health and safety reasons children are not allowed to participate without these items and this will be strictly adhered to.
Children without the correct kit will be asked to watch/support the club under supervision of the club leader – they will not be sent home unless parents are available to collect at the end of the day.
Attending our Clubs
We maintain a register of children who attend each club, but we do not phone if children fail to attend. If your child decides that they no longer wish to participate in a club for which they have registered, please let us know via the school office.
Your child should be fully committed to their club(s) and we expect full, weekly attendance. Please ensure the club leader is informed if your child is unable to attend on a particular day, or wishes to stop attending. Please also be aware that regular attendance at clubs is a key factor in any potential school team selection.
For outdoor clubs, we aim to continue in poor weather if possible, however we will text by 2pm if the club is going to be cancelled – In these circumstances, children will be supervised in school (as far as is practicable in the club teacher's classroom) until the normal finishing time of the club.
