Quad Kids Event Success

What a week! All of our athletes from the Quad Kids event yesterday came home with a trophy! On Thursday we went to a Quad Kids event in Daventry. We took a squad from Years 3/4 and Years 5/6. They all had a 400m/600m run, a 50m/75m sprint, standing long jump an vortex howler throw to do. The children were phenomenal.

Both squads were runners up and have made it to the finals on Thursday 4th July! There were twenty schools in each age group.

At the end of the day, they took the top 8 overall sprinters for each age category. We had a children in 3 out of 4 of these races. One of our year 6 boys won his race, making him the fastest out of the 400 children that were there! It was wonderful to witness. Well done to all.
