Young Voices 2025

Last week 50 of our Bracken Leas Singers attended a concert at the BP Pulse Live Arena in Birmingham for  Young Voices 2025. As part of a choir of 5000 primary school children, this event was a thrilling and very enjoyable experience for children and staff.

Special guest performers, who joined the children in singing a number of songs, included MC Grammar, Tommy Blaize (Strictly Come Dancing) and  Souparnika Nair (BGT). The performance also included some phenomenal dancing and ‘armography’ developed for the children by Street Dance group Urban Strides

We left school late morning ready for a full afternoon rehearsal of all the songs, ahead of the evening performance attended by parents and families of the Young Voices Choir. Highlights of the show included a ‘Rave Medley’ in which parents were asked to take part as well as a Bob Marley Medley.

A special thank you to Mrs Fisher for all of her hard work in the months leading up to this event, teaching our singers all of the songs as well as the moves needed for the show!
