Safer Internet Day 2025 – Tuesday 11th February

 

Safer Internet Day 2025 is on Tuesday 11th February 2025. We will be holding house assemblies throughout the school on this day to raise awareness about staying safe online.

This year’s theme is ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online‘. Details of the aspects covered by this theme can be seen in the infographic above.

More online safety resources, including our own Online Safety Agreement and links to information and guidance in this area, can be found HERE on our school website.

Virgin Media have created Children’s Online Safety Tests to get you up to speed on things you should keep an eye on in a number of areas including; Cyberbullying, Parental Controls, Social Media and Inappropriate Content.

In addition, National Online Safety provide schools with a wide range of support guides to share with parents. They release new guides every Wednesday on Twitter using the hashtag #WakeUpWednesday. Downloads of those most relevant to primary school children can be found HERE on our school website.
